David Coffield joined the Kyle House Group in May 2017, after serving multiple members of Congress in the United States House of Representatives.

David started on Capitol Hill in 2012 in the Office of Congressman Chip Cravaack (R-MN), where he was a writer supporting legislative staff. In 2014, David joined the Office of Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) as an executive assistant and worked with the Republican Study Committee during Congressman Scalise’s Chairmanship. In this role, David focused on both strengthening and cultivating genuine relationships with Members and staff.

Upon Congressman Scalise’s election as Majority Whip, David served as a legislative assistant handling aviation, education, transportation, military, and veteran’s issues. David has successfully directed a number of policy initiatives within the appropriations process, including funding for federal disaster relief and ending ongoing delays at the Federal Aviation Administration. David continues to hold and maintain robust relationships with Members and staff on both sides of the aisle.

David sits on the Board of Directors for the WINGS Foundation, a worldwide non-profit focused on global security, health development, and empowering people around the world through compassion. Currently, the WINGS Foundation has ongoing service operations in Africa supporting families affected by Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria.

Similarly to the original Kyle House, David is a native of East Tennessee. He graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and currently resides in Washington, DC. David enjoys, photography, traveling, and being outdoors.
